Who gives feedback on my work?
You’re getting on-the-spot editorial feedback and marketing pointers from three professional writers with 60+ years of writing, publishing, and teaching experience.
How does it work?
You write the best story you can. Then connect with P.B. Peeps via Zoom and share your manuscript on the screen. In a lively conversation, we give you immediate feedback on your picture book’s structure, characterization, setting, and theme, and offer next-step suggestions. Time permitting, we answer any other questions you have.
When does it happen?
P.B. Peeps schedules appointments for Sundays between 3-5 p.m. EST. We are sometimes able to accommodate other days and times.
What type of writing can I send?
We look at fiction or nonfiction picture book manuscripts of 1,500 words or less. (Spoiler alert: publishers, booksellers, and readers prefer picture books under 500 words.)
How much does it cost?
We charge $150 per one-hour session on Zoom. Payment via Venmo or Paypal secures your slot.
